Responsibilities:
• Operations of a holding of companies, providing and managing various administrative services;
• Records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, other administrative services;
• Corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within a holding of companies;
• Budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies;
• Reports and briefs for the shareholders and the board of directors;
• Assign, direct, manage, control and administer lawyers and legal counsels re: various corporate matters (administrative, tax, corporate, international, immigration, employment, property);
• Internal and external communications;
• Advisory communication function to the President/CEO, shareholders, and Board;
• Business planning process, project realization;
• Facilitation of successful delivery of projects: project planning mechanisms, monitoring and evaluation systems, budget management systems, quality assurance systems and contract management systems;
• Company Secretary;
• Corporate governance and risk management;
• Working with providers of company's professional services (e.g. legal and audit);
• Due diligence processes within corporate acquisitions, property and assets transfers;
• Manage, control and administer internal audit;
• Interview, hire and oversee training for staff;
* Tax planning, offshore transactions;
* Family law, labour law
Requirements:
A Canadian or American Law degree is an asset
1+ years experience in an administrative capacity is preferred
Strong command of Russian and English both written and oral
Basic accounting knowledge is an asset
Basic knowledge of using QuickBooks
MS Office, Excel
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
