CABINET MAKER

We are currently looking for a Cabinet Maker for a cabinet manufacturing facility located in Etobicoke. This position provides experience working from start to finish on cabinetry and custom millwork jobs. The facility is extremely well equipped and a good environment for learning and growth.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Measure and mark outlines on parts
Cut, shape, form, and trim material using woodworking equipment and hand tools
Fit parts together / assemble using screws, nails/staples, glue, and clamps
Experience with working with small hand tools, power tools, benders, sliding table saws, and other cutting equipment
Maintain and store tools and equipment
Assemble and install the cabinets
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Qualifications and Skills:
1-3 years of cabinet-making experience
1-3 years of cabinet installation experience
Knowledge of woodworking materials and finishes
Accuracy and attention to detail
Able to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work well with deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Own transportation to get to the facility
The salary rates are $20-$25 for start only
Location: Etobicoke, ON
FULL TIME 8 AM-5 PM
